This beautiful hand carved and painted bowl can be used in your kitchen as a salad bowl or used as a centerpiece to display fresh fruit. The outer motif is hand carved and painted mushrooms and flower designs. A white slip is painted onto the clay body then carved away leaving the designs that are then hand painted with colorful underglazes. A bright purple liner glaze was used on the inside. This is a unique, one of a kind piece. All pieces are food, microwave and dishwasher safe. The bowl is approximately 11.5 inches wide at the top and 6 tall.
